Tuberculosis is a serious infectious disease caused by airborne transmission.  There has been at least 1 case reported in Commack High School.

It is easy to see if you have been exposed.  A very quick test called a PPD can be performed immediately in our office.  If you have any fever chills sweats cough or coughing up blood, you should be seen and tested immediately.  If you are concerned on any level, please call our Commack office at 631-670-6525 right away!
