Initially, the insurance companies had stated that they would waive all copays and deductibles during this COVID pandemic within certain dates. Now, having received payments from them, it seems they are only doing that for patients who had a diagnosis consistent with the COVID virus.
Please understand that these are requirements that your insurance company, not us, have made due from you. We just have to follow the rules. We are asking that you please remit your bill when you receive it and any issues you may have with it, that you contact your insurance company if you feel it was billed in error. Remember, we are sending the bills that they made due, not Sisselman Medical Group. Thank you for your continued understanding.
